Kell Elliott is a native of Ocilla, Georgia and has been a resident of Valdosta since 2015 having returned to South Georgia from the Florida Panhandle. Mr. Elliott is a co-founder of the Bridgeway Recovery Center and serves as the CEO. Mr. Elliott will be a part of the Clinical Staff at BRC working with clients to address Substance Use Disorders. Kell has 14 years of experience in developing, implementing, and directing programs addressing substance use disorder, PTSD, trauma, and mental illness. Mr. Elliott has served in many capacities in the field of addiction and mental health treatment including Executive Director, Director of Clinical Services, Director of Outpatient Services, and Addictions Program Manager. Mr. Elliott is certified through the International Certification & Reciprocity Consortium as an Internationally Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor, and a Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor in the State of Florida. Mr. Elliott has served as President of Southern Cross Recovery since 2017. He also serves as President and sits on the Board with The KECH Foundation. Kell is passionate about helping people overcome substance abuse and mental health challenges.
Mr. Elliott is a veteran of the United States Navy and has formerly served as an Honorary Commander of Eglin AFB and Hurlburt Field in Fort Walton Beach Florida. He is an avid golfer and enjoys promoting the sport amongst disadvantaged youth and others by volunteering with the USGA and PGA. Mr. Elliott is a loving father to his daughter Karolyn (31) and his son Jordan (16). He is a doting grandfather to his three grandchildren, Christian (5), Barbara Grace (3), and Evelyn Joy (1). Mr. Elliott is a native of South Georgia and is excited about opportunities to help people in Valdosta and the surrounding communities to find help in overcoming substance use disorder.
