Cal Huxford

     Calvitt J. Huxford (Cal) is a lifelong resident of Valdosta and is a graduate of Valdosta High School and Valdosta State University.  He has worked for the last decade in various capacities to help others who have substance use disorder. He has worked professionally as a Certified Peer Specialist at Peaceway Counseling and Mediation, Greenleaf Behavioral Health Hospital, and Southern Cross Recovery. He has been married to his wife Julie for 25 years and is a deacon in his church. In his spare time he does volunteer work for local non-profit organizations, plays golf, and coaches his daughter’s little league softball team.
