Meet Our Nurse Practitioner

Eli Metts, MSN, APRN, NP-C, ACHPN, CCRN 

  Eli Metts joined the medical staff at Bridgeway Recovery Center in 2020 and has become a familiar face for our clients through his regular interaction with them. His experience, dedication and compassion have made him an invaluable part of our team. He is a proven resource for our clients, not only through his medical knowledge and expertise, but also because of his intimate understanding of recovery and the essential elements necessary for our clients to achieve long-term, sustainable sobriety.

 Eli is an Adult–Gerontological Nurse Practitioner with a nursing background which includes treatment and addictions, critical care, invasive cardiology, and nursing administration. He holds a national specialty certification in critical care nursing (CCRN) and hospice and palliative nursing (CHPN). Eli also serves as an adjunct faculty member of the College of Nursing at Valdosta State University. He has also been selected to serve on the Georgia Board of Nursing’s Advanced Practice Committee. Eli finds great joy in helping those who are recovering from alcoholism and addiction and plans on pursuing a post-masters Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification in the near future. Beyond the healthcare profession, Eli is a cycling and travel enthusiast and has a beautiful wife and son who are his inspiration for everything he does.
