Meet Rachel Albritton, LCSW

Rachel Albritton is a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker who brings a wealth of experience and a heart for service to the Valdosta, Georgia community. Originally from Central Florida, Rachel relocated to the area in 2007 following her service in the United States Navy, where she developed a strong foundation in discipline, leadership, and commitment to others.
Rachel earned both her Bachelor of Science in Psychology (2013) and her Master of Social Work (2015) from Valdosta State University, where she also completed impactful internships within the Colquitt County School System and the North Florida/South Georgia VA Medical Center in an inpatient hospice setting.
With nearly a decade of clinical experience, Rachel has worked across a wide range of settings, including inpatient geriatric psychiatric and dementia care, outpatient therapy for children, adolescents, and adults, and specialized services for veterans navigating both life transitions and complex trauma. Her work has included crisis intervention, treatment planning, family collaboration, and group facilitation, supporting individuals at every stage of their healing journey.
Rachel is extensively trained in a variety of evidence-based therapy modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for chronic pain, depression, and substance use, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). She has also led numerous therapy groups ranging from mandated substance use programs to voluntary mood and depression support groups.
At the core of Rachel’s approach is a belief that meaningful change happens through small, intentional steps. She strives to help each client discover even the smallest spark of joy and build upon it, fostering resilience, growth, and lasting transformation. Through a supportive and collaborative environment, Rachel partners with her clients to help them navigate challenges and create healthier, more fulfilling lives.
